style tips: styling palazzo pants for the summer
Let me tell you one thing in secret - I don't really like summer. Yes, I said it, but hear me out, please, I do have a valid reason!
I don't like very hot summer days when I have to go to the office every day. It is air conditioned, so it gets pretty cold during the day, but if you want to pop out of the office to go somewhere, then it can get very uncomfortable if I'm wearing something more covering, like jeans. By the way, I am not up for wearing short shorts or skirts to the office and I would get super cold in them while sitting there. Anyway, the situation is quite desparate as you can see. Is anyone with me on this maybe?
Lucky me, I've been scrolling instagram way too much and I spotted that many of my favourite fashion ladies are wearing wide palazzo pants this summer. I instantly knew that I had to get them as well (& I obviously did). They go with basic t-shirts, loose summer shirts, I would also imagine them with a oversized hoodie worn on the seaside and if you're feeling extra brave - paired iwth a bandeau top. Lastly, they will look absolutely stunning with a pair of converse yet I loved them with my slides too. I really think they are extremely versatile summer wardrobe staple that will be amazing for the office, for during the day when you don't want to flash everyone with your bare legs but it's too hot for jeans & can you think of a more comfortable pair of trousers to wear on the plane? I actually cannot.
Get them. Immediately. Mine are from Mango, but a lot of high street stores are doing different variantions!
