ootd: what to do in Riga

A few weekends ago I was lucky enough to be invited on a trip to Latvia’s capital - Riga. With a group of fellow Lithuanian bloggers and vloggers were headed out on Lux Express bus. Not any bus, might I add, we were upgraded to business class seats that let me tell you, are very comfortable and definitely worth their price tag. I have never travelled business class anywhere, so it was so luxurious to have your own seat (yes, there are single seats with extra leg room), have your personal headphones, a bottle of water and an energy bar! How extra is that?

During the actual trip we visited a very big car museum full of vintage cars, we walked around Riga’s old town, eaten at a very beautifully decorated restaurant called Muusu (the food was very delicious too haha!). However, for me, the coolest place that we went to was the beer district. We had a 6 course lunch at this gastropub called Valmiermuiza Riga and the food there was absolutely incredible. We also tasted different craft beers and went around this area to have some more beer tasting + we visited small Latvian beer breweries. It was very interesting to see all these cute and hipster places where you can hang out, have delicious food and very high quality beer! I think they also have cute coffee shops, so that is definitely the area that I would like to visit next time I’m in Riga.

For my outfit, I chose very comfortable clothes (as if I ever wear anything else), which were a pair of pleather leggings, a cozy jumper, a pair of sneakers (yes, I decided it was warm enough for those, however, I had a sore throat for a few days after this trip) & I finally wore a wool coat instead of my usual teddy coat! Was well pleased with that and I really hope I can wear my spring coats soon, I’m so tired of this freakin’ bad weather!!!

Anyway, I hope you like it & I’ll be back soon with a beauty post. Byeeee!
