ootd: off the shoulder & sparkly eyes

top - Shein | bag - Lindex | ballerinas - Massimo Dutti | skirt - H&M

Hi again,

as promised I am back with a fresh new post all the way from Greece. As you might have noticed already blue tones was kind of a theme in my suitcase during this holiday. It fitted perfectly with the surroundings I thought.

For this simple look I chose a blouse that was definitely out of my comfort zone. Off the shoulder trend has been around for some time now but it seems that it took me ages to be brave enough to try it. Well, I did and I love it! There's something about exposing your shoulders that it both very sexy and subtle, don't you think so? I think it's the perfect choice for a beach holiday, you can wear shorts or skirt with it, but I would and I will happily wear it every day. However, I'd choose something more covering for the bottom half - I have my new mom jeans in mind that I've recently bought.

I never talk about my make up in outfit posts but this time I thought I would mention what products I used to achieve a very glowy look, which was perfect for warm weather. I didn't use much foundation just concealer and always added bronzer and most importantly, a highlighter. It makes such a big difference, if you're now using it already, please try! I wore a cream one by Essence but my usual choice always is The Balm Mary Loumanizer. Moreover, I wanted my eyes to be sparkly as well, I chose to wear mineral eyeshadows by Uoga Uoga. They are shimmery and build able, so you can either achieve a smoky eye or just give yourself a wash of colour on your eyelids. It does make a huge difference I believe. The colours I wore were this and this.
I've always been a make up junkie and I love trying new products, so I think I'll do more make up/skincare related post very soon, so stay tuned for them.

Have great Friday and an awesome weekend, which I cannot wait for because it's going to be my birthday on Sunday - eeeeek, almost 23 ! xx
