ootd: best investment for this autumn
trainers - Nike Hurrache | jacket - ASOS | jeans - Zara | scarf - H&M | bag - Coach
Real autumn has definitely hit Lithuania and let me tell you, it ain't pretty. It has been raining cats and dogs the last few days, the wind is awful, so basically I want to be wrapped up in a blanket all day long, or at least feel like I'm in a blanket in my clothes. That's why I'm very excited to share the best autumnal purchase of the year for me - a navy blue parka jacket.
I bet you all be like 'What, parka? That's not very revolutionary'. Well, I didn't think so either. That's why for 23 years I didn't own one. Even when I lived in Nothern England aka the windiest and rainiest place on Earth, I never thought of buying an autumn jacket that has a hood and is windproof. For some weird reason, it never occurred to me and I always just wore coats with a scarf wrapped up around my head.
What the actual hell, I'm now thinking! I have bought this navy blue parka from ASOS in September and I cannot stop wearing it. It keeps me very warm, my hair doesn't get frizzy from the rain and also, it protects my face from the wind since the hood is huge. On top of it, it cost me around 45 euros, which was a total bargain I think. I own at least 4 autumn/winter coats & I'm not excited about wearing any of them because neither of them have a hood and I'm not sure if I can deal with that now.
Let's all hope that I will either manage to take off my parka for shooting or force myself to wear something else otherwise this piece will be my nr.1 outerwear of choice until... spring.
