Didier Lab: my nail salon at home
Here I am again with a beauty post for you all and I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I loved writing about it.
I am super excited about this one as it is something that I have done myself and also, something that I haven't done a lot in my life. It sounds very adventurous, but as you must have realised from the pictures already, it's not really! I am just talking about gel manicures here. However, gels have always been kind of a mystery for me. I don't even know why, maybe it's the fact that they dry real fast under that magic lamp, or maybe because it takes absolutely ages to take them off. I always do my manicure and pedicure at home, so when Didier Lab contacted me and asked if I want to receive a 'do your gel manicure at home' kind of kit, I jumped at the opportunity.
When the package arrived, I tore it apart in minutes to reveal a gorgeous white box for their Skin Nude collection that consisted of all of these bits and bobs:
- a nail file to shape the nails
- a nail buffer to prepare the nail for the polish application
- orange tree stick to take care of your cuticles or use it for polish excess removal
- glitter for nail art
- LED lamp
- nail dyhadrator
- nail polish remover
- nail cleaner
- base code SHIELD
- top coat no wipe SHIELD
- two nail polish shades: iced mocha & let's do it
The whole process of doing a quick manicure and polishing took me around 30 minutes. I couldn't believe that it can be done so quickly! You can see, I don't think I did a bad job there, so this whole kit really made my Friday evening! Now, I just need to get more colours as these are really autumnal but I want to have a shade from the red colour family as well as a pinky nude. Thumbs up Didier Lab, aboslutely loved this gel manicure set & I was really surprised how the LED lamp was so small but did the job. Definitely won't take a lot of space in my cupboard, which is a plus too!
You can buy this kit on Didier Lab website, check it out!
P.S. the little pink candle in the photos is also from Didier and it smells so warm and autumnal - my kind of scent. Appearently, they have a new home scents range and I am very excited to try more of those - love that packaging!
See you very soon with a new outfit post, G.
