beauty corner: skincare routine for winter

It is wise to look after your skin all year round, however, I do believe that in winter all the problems are more visible and people tend to freak out about their skin the most. To be honest, it was the case with me. In summer, my skin is mostly normal, so I wouldn't use a night cream every night, sometimes I wouldn't bother even putting a day cream on and SPF as well. I know I know, it is horrible, but I didn't want to lie to you. However, I am not able to afford such lifestyle anymore since my skin is a dry mess. Therefore, I wanted to share with you my skincare routine that has completely changed last month, but first, just a brief description about my skin: it is normal to dry right now, I tend to break out during that time of the month and my face is prone to redness as well as some sensitivity.

As you might see, the majority of my skincare stash consists of Bioderma products. I first discovered this brand years ago when my fellow blogging gals started raving about their micellar water. I have tried it then as well and I think it is awesome. I also used their Sebium cream when I had breakouts, which I think helped too. Recently, I was invited to meet Bioderma team in Vilnius and a lovely lady Dovile explained me all the great things about this brand and kindly let me try some of their product to see which work for me and which don't.

Night time routine:
1) Bioderma Sensibio AR H20: Removing make-up is very important, so never skip this step! I always do it with this micellar water, it does the job well + this anti-redness edition really calms my skin and I don't end up with red cheeks after removing foundation. Love it!
2) Bioderma Sensibio Gel Moussant: I cleanse my skin every evening with this cleanser. It never dries out my skin but skin feels clean and soft after.
3) Bioderma Atoderm Nutritive: a very nourishing and moisturizing cream this one, but it works perfectly in the winter time for me since my skin tends to be dry, but I also want to add a boost noutrition. It is a thick cream yet it is not greasy, which I like very much! 4) Clinique eye cream: just a simple eye cream that moisturises my under eye area. It doesn't irritate my eyes, which is always good thing.

Morning routine:
1) Cleansing my face with just water. Yes, I don't use a cleanser to wash my face in the morning, I really don't think it is needed & it really works for me. Don't judge!
2) Bioderma Hydrabio Perfecteur SPF 30: even if it's winter, don't forget to add SPF to your routine, it's very important to protect your ksing from the sun. I love this cream - it is light yet moisturises a lot + adds a nice glow to the skin. It claims to have crushed pearls inside that help to even our the skin tone and add that subtle glow. I was worried it would make me look greasy yet that isn't the case at all!
3) First Aid Beauty Eye Duty Triple Remedy in Fair/Medium: This is a product that everynbody needs in their bathroom cupboard. Totally irreplaceable for getting rid of those dark under eye circles. Since it is a little tinted, it helps a lot on no make up days to look more awake and rested, but works great under make-up too. My favourite morning product for sure!

So,that's it for today's beauty ramble. I hope you enjoyed my picks & I really encourage everyone to try Bioderma. My post is not sponsored at all, I truly love the brand and the fact that all the products are designed not to increase any alergies and are perfect for sensitive skin.
